About the AI Learning Lab

The AI Hands-On Learning Lab is a monthly, guided exploration of technology tools with a focus on their AI capabilities. Each session spotlights a specific software and provides learners the opportunity to delve into its distinct AI features through hands-on exploration. The lab will also foster discussions on how these tools can be effectively used across workplace contexts - from getting the job, reducing friction in your workflow processes, and leveling up your learning design.

We will rotate through focusing on an AI tool through one of these three specific lenses:

  • Job Edition

  • Ways of Working Edition

  • Learning Content Edition.

About Mighty Plugin for Articulate Rise

If you've ever built a course in Rise 360, you know the trap: it's fast and easy, but the default blocks and layouts can start to feel a bit cookie-cutter. And after a while, every course you build starts to look like every other Rise course out there.

Mighty is a Chrome extension that plugs directly into your normal Rise 360 workflow to fix exactly that. It isn't made by Articulate, but it layers custom blocks, richer interactions, and branching options right into the tool you already use — no new software to learn, and no developers required. Beyond visual polish, Mighty's real draw for this lab is Mighty Studio, where you connect an AI tool you already use (Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot) to build fully custom, reusable interactive templates just by describing what you want.

In this interactive, hands-on session, we will look past the marketing hype to test what the Mighty + AI workflow can actually do to break your Rise courses out of the cookie-cutter mold. This session will be co-presented by Priyanka Veetil, who inspired this session when sharing how she uses the Mighty plugin for an eLearning design challenge.

What we will explore and evaluate together:

  • AI-Built Interactive Templates: Test how effectively Mighty Studio turns a plain-language prompt into a working, reusable Rise interaction — and what that means for build time on future courses.

  • Design Consistency at Scale: Practice using Mighty's brand controls (typography, color, layout) to keep AI-generated blocks looking native to Rise rather than bolted on.

  • Workflow Fit Dissections: Discuss where an AI-assisted plugin like Mighty realistically fits into an ID's existing Rise build process — and where it might introduce more friction than it saves.
