Using Assessments to enhance Talent Development

 

Join us for a rich discussion on using assessments for developing talent. We will explore the use of personality assessments, team assessments, and other self & multi-rates assessments.

Discuss the benefits of using assessments, how to use them effectively and pitfalls to avoid. Share success stories and best practices in using assessments effectively in Talent Development to increase awareness, create buy in, and develop a plan of action to change behavior, and build skills and competencies.

Bios

Deb Bercume, MSM, PCC

Deb is an Executive Coach and Leadership Facilitator who brings over 25 years of experience working with professionals to achieve personal and professional fulfillment.

She specializes in Leadership Development spending her time working with leaders through executive coaching or group facilitation focused on individual & team growth; as well as, moving the organization forward.

She is an instructor for the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching Program (iPEC) and awarded Business Coach of the Year by the International Coach Federation of New England (ICF-NE Chapter).

Deb earned her MSM Degree in Training and Development from Lesley University, her BS in Business Administration from MCLA, and a Certificate in Human Resources Management from Bentley University.  She is Past-President and current Membership Director of the Central Massachusetts Chapter of the Association of Talent Development (CMATD).  She holds a coach certification from the iPEC; as well as, earned the International Coach Federation’s Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credentialing.  She is certified and experienced in a number of talent development assessments and simulations including Everything DiSC, MBTI, Genos Emotional Intelligence, The Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team, Energy Leadership, Future Games: Critical Thinking, Hogan Assessments, Lominger’s:  Voices, PDI Profilor, and Results Accelerator.

 

 

 

 

 

David Hofstetter

David is the Founder and Chief Strategist of The Hofstetter Group, a coaching and advising firm working within the Learning and Development industry.

Previously, David was the Manager, Learning and Development at New England Organ Bank He is a dedicated employee performance specialist with 20+ years’ experience combined with an operational and entrepreneurial mindset.

David sees the big picture and solves problems, enabling the design, building, and implementation of learning and performance programs that meet strategic organizational goals in financially responsible ways.
He has a strong understanding of organizational development backed with multiple presentations and a solid academic education, including M.S. in Organizational Psychology and a B.S. in Business Administration and a Certificate in Training and Development from Boston University. David is a certified trainer in Myers Briggs (MBTI), Everything DiSC®, 5 Behaviors of a Cohesive Team and the Energy Leadership Index (ELI).

David is also Past President of the Central Massachusetts ATD chapter.
